The movie Jesus Camp was very disturbing, the way they brain washed those innocent children into religion. Of course if you tell a young child that god loves you, god created you for a purpose, god wants you to be happy then the child is going to take a liking to god. When your young all you want to hear and feel is love, you want to know that your comforted and safe. In the Evangelical religion that is what it basically consist of worshipping the lord because the lord love you so much, and it is the only thing that is there for you. Its absurd how elders teach these lessons to their children telling them how public school is bad and that is where the devil lives, how close minded is that. Its actually sad in the movie, seeing how those innocent children will never be able to have an amazing remember able childhood, they can never tell their parents how they made new friends at school, and the new things they learned from their teacher. In the future when these children grow older they can take either two paths they can follow their parents footsteps and continue the beliefs that were forced on them when they were younger, or something life changing will happen to them that makes them realize that religion can't answer all their questions and sometimes they will have to learn and trust others that aren't evangelical Christians. Becky Fischer i think is a bit irrational I never seen a person have such strong belief as she does, actually yes I have which makes me think her goal is to start an army and become the next Hitler.....just kidding, I think she is just plan crazy. She gets disgusted with people that want to have a choice and those who don't have the same beliefs as her, when its the ones that don't judge and absorb all the information they hear from others are the ones that will progress in life the most. To hear that two massive evangelical churches get built a day just scares me, to know that this religion is rapidly growing like that. What is the world coming to? This religion is targeted in the south obviously cause it wouldn't be as popular anywhere else, you know why, because it boring in the south there is absolutely nothing to do in the south, so they starting praising Jesus every second to fill up their day that's how they solved the boredom problem. This film was extremely edited and the directors had to cut a lot of scenes out, which leaves me wondering what these scenes consisted of.....a little human sacrifice, or maybe scouring who knows except those that took part. Is it true that if Evangelicals took a vote their side would over all win cause their population is so great, cause if that's true then that is pretty ridiculous. I would enjoy seeing Becky come to big New York City and turn people on to her religion that would bring her back to reality seeing the response she would get. All I have to say is if these are the type of people that are in heaven then I rather not go there. =]
