The Notebook, the 2004 romance movie of the year bringing tears to every eye in the theater. Directed by Nick Cassavetes, the novel was written by Nicholar Sparks and it was adapted by Jan Sardi. The Notebook received a remarkable eleven wins, but no surprise there. I really love this film it just gets me every time, so heart warming to see two people love each other so much. It just proves no matter the distance if your love is strong you will always be together. I thought the conflicts in the movie was a classic but it completely brought the movie down to reality. Its hard to make romance films very realistic and not over the top corny. The main character Allie Hamilton was played by Rachel McAdams some of her other common films were Mean Girls, The Family Stones, and Wedding Crashers. Ryan Gosling played the male main character who was Noah Calhoun. Both of these artist worked perfect with each other they were a good match to put in this type of film. My favorite scene in the movie was the boat scene when it starts raining, and he puts the boat on the dock, runs up to her and kiss's his soul into her its so breath taking, it always brings tears to my eyes. The best factor about the film is that when they were separated they didn't have cell phones to call each other on, or Internet to e-mail and keep in touch all they had was the faith and hope that they would be together again one day in the future. That's all you really need when you have true love on your side. I think The Notebook is a great film for everyone reading this blog go buy the film and all the boys should take notes while watching. =]
